Digital Content Management

Content Management, Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) www.oxfordscholarship.com

Advice and practical support for global online subscription site. Includes: recruitment, training and management of project manager, editorial team of staging server checkers and Abstract & Keyword procurement editor for University Presses Online (UPSO); planning and scheduling future content up to 12 months up to go-live; managing third-party suppliers; maintaining accurate data in Filemaker tracking database; providing reports to sales, marketing and royalty departments at OUP to aid in selling OSO; dealing with queries, concerns and issues arising, working closely with in-house editorial and OSO project teams.

OSO now contains more than 13,000 books and grows by 100 titles a month, and it’s Alysoun who helps it run so smoothly. Because she has a clear all-round view of exactly what it takes to bring a product to market she can, and does, sort all kinds of problems out – but she also knows when to involve OUP staff. It’s that blend of getting things done with her alertness to genuine issues that I find an invaluable combination that’s great to work with.
